Happy New Years from me to you!!

WOW! HAPPY NEW YEARS!! (15 days late)

I cannot believe it is 2015 already! The holidays went by so incredibly fast! I haven't posted on here in nearly two months. I don't like that at all!





Okay so there were some factors involved as to why I didn't post. I promise I wasn't neglecting y'all on purpose.

So as you know I was going to be moving after the first of the year. Because of that, I was trying to spend as much time with my family as I could. Which means I wasn't around my boyfriend as much. I had been using his computer to post, so since I wasn't around that means no posting for me.

My holidays went by so fast! Christmas was great! I got lots of things for the apartment.
Here is a small list of things I (well I guess my boyfriend and I)

• Rachel Ray cookware set
• Towels, hand towels, and washrags
• Ninja Prep Professional Master
• Lots of Tupperware 

Those are just a few things I got. The only things I believe that I received that were "personal" were pajamas, and Jesse got a Ulta gift card. I needed those so bad!! You have no idea!

So Christmas was great. Spent time with lots of family. It really was nice!
Then New Years was great too! Went to my boyfriend's family's house and ate tons of food and popped some fireworks. It was just too dang cold to pop a lot, plus it started raining so we only stayed out for a few minutes.

2014 ended greatly for me I would say. But oh 2015 has started off to even better start!!

So the reason we were having to move to San Marcos was because Jesse will be attending Texas State University in the spring to get a Bachelors in Communication Design (Graphic Design). I could not be more proud of him and how goal oriented and education striving he is. He inspires me in so many ways and I'm so glad I have him in my life.

He had a party on the 3rd to celebrate him going to college and all of his family and some of mine was there! It was a great time! Lots of food and talk and oh just one more small thing...

HE ASKED ME TO MARRY HIM!! 

It was such a freaking surprise!!! I had no idea he was going to do that, and let alone in front of nearly 100 people!!! It was absolutely perfect! I can now say fiance! I have been wanting to say it this whole post but I had to wait! There is a video and I'm trying to figure out how I can get it on here. I have it on my phone but I'm having trouble getting it through my email, but as soon I can get it on the computer I will post it. It is so romantic. Better than any photo I could have!!

Now that the party was over it was time to move on the following Monday!

We finally made it! We are now here in beautiful San Marcos, Texas!! It really is so beautiful. Here is a website that tells you about all the stores and restaurants and fun things that they have in this city. It feels just like east Texas but with all the stores and things of a big city! Walmart and HEB are 5 minutes away. So many food choices just right down the road. The university and downtown are just a mile away. The outlet malls are only 7 minutes down the road. We are literally in a perfect spot to everything!

He started his job today. Not the job he really wanted but there are few part time graphic design jobs here in San Marcos, so he took what he could, I am still on the lookout though. Since after the new year lots of people keep there holiday help, it's been kind of hard to find something but hopefully I'll get something soon! My biggest lead right now is a child care provider position at an elementary school. A really nice one I might add. Seems to be brand new! Fingers crossed I get!

So, Jesse and I got a camera! I am so freaking excited! I will get to get deeper into my photography this year. So get ready for lots of photos. That is what most people like anyways right? Haha!

I would have posted tons of photos with this post but we don't have a card reader to download the photos to the computer. BUT, it will be here on Saturday so when it comes I PROMISE I will post everything from Christmas, New Years, the party and engagement to a tour around the apartment! I am so excited to show you everything you guys! So get ready!

Oh, and I have so many plans for 2015 for things on my blog. I want to try to take as many photos as I can with jesse. Hopefully one a day and post it on another website in a timeline style way with stories from our time here in our apartment and life!

I also want to start doing lots of movie reviews. We won't be getting cable so it is a great way to pick up movies from thrift shops and such and do reviews on them!

Once I get a job in and kicking, I want to do reviews on some makeup too! Although that may come at a later date but it will come!

I swore I wouldn't do it because I didn't need another endless black hole in my life but I think I might get a Pinterest account. There is so much stuff on there I could use on my blog.
