A Little Slice of Home

If you have even been to Austin, and you are a pizza lover.. which I am sure 90% of the world is... this is one place you just have to check out. 

Honestly, I am not the biggest pizza lover, unlike my fiance, but I could eat at this place every single day. Rated 4.5 starts out of 5 on Google. I'd like to know why it isn't 5 stars actually! 

Home Slice Pizza is the name. I give it 10 out of 10 any day. 

Home Slice serves authentic NY style pizza buy the pie (whole) or the slice. Along with pasta, salad, you know the typical italian food items. But 50,000 times better. 

To those who have never had NY style pizza, it's honestly the best kind of pizza out there. They make them as large hand-tossed thin crust pies. They are light on tomato sauce, so it's much easier to eat more. ( I think that is why I can actually eat so much). The crust is crisp but thin enough to fold in half and eat, because the slices are pretty large. 

They have two locations, which conveniently located right next to each other. How cool is that?

Home Slice and More Home Slice are the names.

Home Slice is more of the sit down restaurant style, and More Home Slice I believe is more like a grab and go or a quick stop restaurant.

Haha I looks so appealing, thanks Jesse! That double chin is no joke when I am munching on some pizza.

I wish I had gotten a picture of the actually pizza. I didn't even know I would do a blog on it. I just had my camera that day and I snapped a few silly shots. 

I will in fact go back soon (because who could stay away), and I promise I will get some great shots. 

So again, next time you pass through Austin, you MUST stop. It's an absolute must, must, must! You will not be let down in any way, shape, or form.
