A Few of my Favorite Spring Lipsticks

Hello my Lovelies! I keep saying it's spring time, but seriously it's spring time. No more cold days, no more staying inside. You guys have no idea how happy I am. I actually want to get dressed and look pretty now. I want to go out and explore nature! Anyone else love going and just looking at the beautiful flowers blooming?

Now days I don't wear much makeup, especially during work. As you know I work at a daycare so it's not like looking flawless is a priority. One thing I do though to make myself look more put together than I really am is to put a bright lipstick on.

These are some of my favorite spring/summer lipsticks. I have more I wanted to show you but my bag has disappeared so this will be in two parts, yay!!

1. NXY Butter Lipstick in "Pops"
This color is great. It's actually a very natural color on the lips, but with a little umph. This one is a must in your bag for a grab and go when you want something on your lips but don't really want much color.


2. NYX Matte Lipstick in "Alabama"
This one is definitely in my top 5! It's matte but not too matte that it makes your lips look insanely dry. It's basically like a brick red, but with the tiniest hint of purple in it. I wear this one all year round. Great look if you like the vampy style.


3. EMCosmetics (Michelle Phan) Creamy Color Sheer Lipstick in "One True Kiss"
I received this lipstick in a Ipsy bag a long time ago. It's a pretty sheer shade but it does have a nice Rosy color that I love. I know that sheer shades they don't stay a long time. That's a downside for me. But if you dig that, then this color would be really great for you.


4. Maybelline Color Whisper in "Pin Up Peach"
This shade is super sheer, it almost just like your lips have glitter on it haha. It's really smooth, that's what I love most about it. Another great grab and go shade.


5. Maybelline Color Sensational in "Fifth Ave. Fuchsia"
This one is another one in my top 5. This one is pretty bold but can also be a very professional shade too. Who doesn't love a bright pink! I love the Color Sensational line from Maybelline. They are all very opaque, last a long and they don't smudge.


6. Maybelline Color Sensational in "Deepest Cherry"
Another great vampy shade. The lipstick itself looks a lot darker than it really is. It actually goes on semi sheer so you can build it up to the darkness that you want. And it still stays on for a long time.


7. Revlon ColorBurst Matte Balm in "Unapologetic"
The brightest one of them all. This shade is literally neon pink. I love this balm but it is hard to find outfits that don't completely class with it. It goes great with neutral shades of clothes. Put this on and a little mascara and you are good to go!
