School's out for Summer!!

I can't believe the school year is almost over (well technically it's already over for everyone else). I have one more day with my kiddos. Only some of them though! I'm not ready to be away from them yet! I just got to know them and now half of them are going to kindergarten! I absolutely love my job. I never could imagine how happy this job would make me. I knew I've always wanted to have a career in childcare, but now having this job I really see that I was destine to do this. I've kind of surprised myself how well I have been. I have a really short temper and I don't take people's crap easily. In the 5 months I have been there I think I have gotten aggravated once. That itself blows my mind. I wake up each morning in the greatest mood knowing I get to go to work with all the loving children that I have. And when I come home I already miss them. I can't even imagine what it will be like whenever I have my own children!

The parent's I have are so wonderful and I feel very blessed by their appreciation for me after such a short time here. Some of them got me a end of the year gift :)

I am SOO ready for the river now!! I seriously am so appreciative for everything these parent's have given me!! It means a lot knowing that even though I have only been here a few short months that they are still thinking of me! I even got gifts at Teacher Appreciation Week! (I'll post those up soon)

I cannot wait to see what next school year holds me for me! I will have more experience, more responsibility and more fun! I'm already thinking of many ideas for things to do next year! Hopefully my co-workers will think they are fun too! Now it's time for my first summer off!!

This guy loves to steal my pony tails from my hair when I am lying down on the floor.

YEP, completely guilty.
Bevo, The Mighty Ponytail Thief!

Check out my post down below for some cute photos of Bevo at the dog park!

A couple weeks ago I went and took some amazing photos of graffiti that is downtown in San Marcos! Don't miss out, click here to see all of the photos!!

Question of the post:
What is your way to style your hair?

Usually I just let it air dry because I normally end up sticking it in a ponytail at some point during the day at work. But when I actually style it, I love to crimp it! Full on 90's crimp!! :)

Well I hope you guys have a lovely Wednesday!

A (Messy) Trip to the Dog Park

Today I am in the greatest mood! And that itself makes me really happy. I actually have a lot to be happy about. Today at work they had field day. Since the preschool can't participate, we got the play on the bounce house obstacle course they had set up in the gym! It was SOO much fun! Okay after going on it for the 10th time I started to get a little tired. My body just wasn't prepared for it!! I am also happy that I have work for 2 more days until I am off for the whole summer! Technically I am partially sad about that. I won't get to see my sweet babies for 2 and a half months. I just got this job and I am so attached to all my kiddos now and some are going off to Kindergarten next year. I am not going to be prepared for this each year. It's too heartbreaking! What I am excited about though is to be able to have paid summers! I love my job!

Today when I got off the weather seemed absolutely perfect plus it hadn't rained in 3 days. I knew I wanted to get out and do something. Poor Bevo has been cooped up in the house for weeks because of the constant rain so I decided to take him to the dog park. You can just imagine his excitement when I told him where we were going!

When I got there, there were 3 giant puddles of water. I honestly thought to myself that I was going to turn around and just take him for a walk, but then I saw a lady coming with her little puppy. Since she went in there regardless I said what the hey! They were having so much fun until another guy came with his puppy. Then it became a puppy party!!

I love my sweet Bevo!!

He just to be a silver/white colored yorkie if you can't tell now by all the mud!

And he finally comes and tells me he wants to go home!

"Please Momma please I wanna go home!"

It was a great day for him!! Bath time took forever . That's the price you pay for loving your pet! Now is sound asleep curled up by my feet. This day was very successful!!

Do you have any pets that love playing in the mud, or doing anything else crazy? I'd love to see it! :)

Question of the post:
What is your favorite thing to do with your pet?

Bevo has this thing where he likes to playfully bite my hand. So I like to tease him with my hand and he tries to bite it. Now that I live in San Marcos and they have a dog park we spend a lot of time there and he loves it!!

A Trip to the Blanco River!

Hope you guys are having a great week so far! I'm getting this post up really late..or really early, however you look at it! I can't believe it is almost June. This year has FLEW by!! I'm sitting here thinking I can't believe it has been 5 months since we moved to San Marcos. We absolutely love it here. It has everything we need and want. Lovely people, great community, amazing rivers! We went to the Blanco river a couple weekends ago. We had a picnic (kind of) and then we explored around the river. We had Bevo with us so we had to be careful where we went walking. He seemed to really like the water but he was still a little nervous. I bet is we brought him back a few more times he would really start to have lots of fun.

Get ready, I took a lot of pictures.

Goofy smiles.

Every time we come here we always wonder how you get that that huge house up there.

This was our "picnic".. some T-Bell

He was Sunbathing.

The water is soo clear.

A little apprehensive.

This is the other side of the river where the waterfall is.

Love this photo.
