Thanksgiving Traditions

hey it's been a minute!

I hope you all have been having a great November so far! There is always something about November, that right after Halloween you automatically feel so festive and wintery (I don't even know if that's a real word haha). Although you really should be having those feelings into after Thanksgiving, here is Texas we dream about the days when it finally gets cold. Which is usually the end of December. -_____-

For Thanksgiving my family usually has dinner at my mother's parent's house. We used to have so many people come, and it was great. To be able to be surrounded by loved ones who don't judge you when you eat too much and look incredibly bloated. Over time though, the people who could come has gotten smaller and smaller each year. Actually this year my grandparents might have it at another family member's house out of town, which means my family wouldn't have any idea what to do for Thanksgiving. I'm crossing my finger that it doesn't happen (for my own selfish reasons). I just love all the food we get to make. My favorite is Turkey and dressing, Sweet potato casserole, Pumpkin pie, oh too many to name! What kind of food are y'all looking forward too?  How do y'all spend Thanksgiving? Do y'all have any traditions, silly or not? I'd love to hear from y'all!!

Oh, I almost forgot! My birthday was in September (I turned 22) and I told my mom I wanted a winter coat for my birthday. Well obviously being that I live in Texas, it was no where near close to any cool weather. So I waited, and finally this past Friday I got a coat. Two coats actually! They were both on a 50% off sale. SCORE! I got my boyfriend to take photographs of me. I'm going to put them up on here this week as soon as I can edit them! I'm so excited about my coats. I have never gotten this style of coat before and they are so beautiful!

Well I'm off for the night! I hope y'all liked this read!
