Holidays and Moving

Okay so finally I can get some photos up from the past few months. Dang I swear these past two months have been so hectic and hopefully they are finally settling down and getting back to normal, but better because now I am moved away and engaged. Ah, life is so perfect right now! Anywho, so back in December Jesse and I took a quick trip to Austin for a friend's wedding. It was so beautiful and I'm so happy for her to finally marry the man of her dreams! It's so awesome seeing high school sweethearts get married. Jeez I love weddings. Such a beautiful beautiful thing to witness. So before the wedding we stopped at the park and took a few silly photos.

At first I didn't know he was taking photos. I was just walking around. I thought he was messing with the camera. But these came out so beautiful!

I'm not completely certain as to why he always makes this face in photos. But it's pretty sexy so I don't complain! *whistle sound*

This will probably be my favorite photo of us for a long time! We used his wallet to prop up the camera and used the timer and voila!! This is our relationship in a nutshell. Just look up silly in the dictionary and our names are there. AHA!

I love this photos so much, I'm not sure why. Everything seems so peaceful, and it actually was even with all the cars and downtown right next to us. It's funny because I look at this picture and the cars look like they are going to run into each other.... which that isn't funny, but you know what I mean!

~~~~~~~~~
Okay so fast forward another month and here we are, engaged (I'll post those photos when I get them sent to me), All packed up and ready to move!! My parents helped us move!
Yep, That's our entire lives in one load. Well almost, we had maybe like 4 more boxes and a side dresser that didn't go, but pretty much this is it! Some of my dad's coworkers and my family helped get it all in. It's crazy because when we have everything in our apartment it doesn't look like that much, but seeing it on the trailer it looks like there is so much more. Funny isn't it?
I don't have a lick of makeup on but here we are! Moving on up in our lives. This was one of the biggest bittersweet moments of my life. Wanting to stay, wanting to go, ohhh the torture. No, I knew it was time to go. Time to venture out on my own, find myself, and grow up. I could't let Jesse go without me, he needs me to much. Hahaha calling you out babe!
Fast forward 5 hours and we got our keys!! WOO! Our first apartment. So much more spacious than we remembered. My parent's unloaded us then they were off. It was already after 6 once we got everything unloaded. My parents needed to get home. We spent the next 5 hours finding things and separating into rooms and starting some unpacking. As of today we are still in need of a few things but nothing too big.
We are doing pretty good so far! Jesse started school this past week, and he is working too. I.. uhh unfortunately haven't had any luck yet finding a job. Had a few nibbles but haven't caught anything. Being in a college town doesn't offer many opportunities, and especially after the first of the year. I am staying hopeful though! Somewhere will come through for me, I know it!
Hope y'all have had a great first of the year too!!
