Mini Vaca

Heyyy guys! Don't you just love sucky camera quality photos? Gives it this vintage-y vibe to it. I'm totally being serious! Sometimes I really like that my phone is ancient.

Anyways! Sorry I have been gone the past week and a half! Last week I was so busy and then Jesse's friends came down to visit so we were running around the whole time. Then on Saturday I drove back home to east Texas to visit my family for a few days. Jesse was working and I didn't want to just sit around, so I thought why not take a mini vaca?! I didn't plan a single thing and I didn't tell anyone I was there because it was spur of the moment and I didn't want to let people down if I didn't get to see them (wow what a run-on). I'll be back in the summer for a long time so don't worry!

I took lots of photos! I'm so excited to put them up! I want to do it asap but the next two days I'll be at SXSW and then on Saturday Jesse's familia visits, so it might be Sunday before I get them up!

I took some of around Tyler. Well really of one park. If there is one thing you know about Tyler it's that Tyler is the Rose Capital of America. So to speak. It's absolutely beautiful! I love my hometown. There is a place called the Rose Garden where it has 14 acres of land with over 38,000 roses of at least 500 different varieties. They bloom in the spring and again in mid-October. It's breathtaking really! I wanted to take photos there to show you a little of my hometown but sadly they aren't ready yet. I'm sure to a rose advocate you might think I'm silly for not knowing this. I assure you I know very little about plant life. Wish I knew more though!

So I didn't get to take photos there but I did get to at a park, so I will show those to you asap.

I finally arrived back to San Marcos around 3:30 today. It really seems like this has been my home for a long time now. I feel so different being away from here. I love this place so much. It really does feel like home. When I got home I was utterly surprised that I wasn't wanting to just crash on the couch. I actually unpacked everything and took Bevo to the dog park. I took my camera with me of course. You never know what cool things you will see. That and my phone camera is completely messed up now. Well he wanted to be at the dog park all of 5 minutes. I don't blame him though, there wasn't anyone to play with. I feel so bad because he just stands there at the gate looking at the big dog side wishing he could be over there. Poor baby is just way too small to be over there. A whopping 5.5 oz what what!!

Anyways, so I make this contraption where I looped his retractable leash around one of my belt loop and had it locked within a certain distance so I had two free hands for picture taking. And off we want walking! I think all together we walked 2 miles but I could be horribly off. I've never been good at guessing measurements. It was really cool walking around. I discovered more of the town and found more things to do, especially with Jesse. I took lots of photos that I want to put up soon too!

It's been a great spring break so far and it's not even halfway over yet! I'm so excited to go to SXSW tomorrow! I get to see Kublai Khan play again! I miss them so much! Click on the link, it'll take you to their Facebook page. It you like Metalcore you will love them!! They are playing a free show with some bands that are really good but I don't listen to them, to be honest. But Beartooth (band website) will be there and I'm so anxious to see them live for the first time. Jesse is 50x more anxious than me. He has been talking about it nonstop. I have never been to SXSW before so I have no idea what to expect and how many people will show up. The more the merrier though, that's what they say.

I feel like I could talk forever, but I should come to a close. I'll give you more updates later as I post the photos!

QUESTION! I just remember that I need someone to answer this question for me. Okay so I want to make a website. I'm not sure who I'll get to host it, maybe GoDaddy or Wordpress. You know on blogger everything is linked to google. So you have the comment/interactive section. How could I do that on a website I build from the floor up? Do they have hosting sites that I can have a comment section and it be linked to some sort of email or such and such? Does that make any sense? I'm the worst to word things. If it does and you know an answer, PLEASE let me know! I would love to go ahead and make my own website. Google is the only thing holding me back right now!

Hope you all are having a lovely spring break, or had one, or will have one; or if you don't even have one.. hope you are having a great week then!
