Netflix: Current Faves and To-Be Watched

I feel like I jumped on the Netflix bandwagon a decade after it became a thing. Literally I think I just got it three months ago. Crazy right? ONE DOES NOT SIMPLY NOT HAVE NETFLIX! HA.. pretty much. I couldn't even tell you a reason why I opposed getting it. I think it was more of a lazy thing. I mean I could count on one hand the amount of hours I watch TV a week. But the reason I ended up getting it, was mainly for the TV shows. Which I feel that Hulu would be a pretty match for my needs, but whatever. Ever since I got it I have found so many shows I missed out on, on TV, that I get to finally watch. I have to pace myself. I don't want to be watching 20 shows at once....confusing!!!

This is a small list of shows I am currently watching, some I may just be a couple episodes into but these are the ones I want to watch entirely before I jump into new ones!

1. House

This and forever will be my #1 favorite TV show. It's the most intriguing, witty, educational show I know. I always watched it on TV so I never got to see it new episode by episode. That's why I'm watching them start to finish online. The show is about a antisocial doctor who specializes in diagnostic medicine who does whatever it takes to solves puzzles of patients' symptoms. Everything is a game for him and he pulls everyone into his game, like it or not.

2. Lie To Me

It's such a sad story that FOX would cancel one of the most intelligent shows that has been around in a very long time. Tim Roth is one of my favorite actors and he plays the part in this series perfectly. This show ended in 2010 with only 3 series, but it's still one of the best intellectual series you will see. The show is about a man who is a lie deception expert who runs his own firm alongside his partner in crime. Together they help solve crimes and mysteries through detecting the lies and truth of the people involved. You will be hooked, I promise you that.

3. Switched at Birth

I just started this series and I was instantly hooked. I mean even the title of the show has you wanting to know more. The show is exactly that. A girl at the age of 16 discovers that her parents aren't her biological parents this discovering she has been switched at birth with another baby. Crazy part is, that isn't even the craziest part about it. If you love scandalous drama, you will love this.

4. New Girl

Honestly, if you haven't seen this series, I have lost all hope in people's form of judgement. This is one of the funniest, feel good shows in a really long time. Every time I watch this show, I instantly am in a great mood. I feel inspired to be a better, less stressful person. You rock Zooey Deschanel! Seriously though, Jesse and I binged watched this for like 3 weekends in a row till we watched it all. I wanted to pace myself a little because I didn't want it to end but he wouldn't let me not watch it. For those who don't know what the show is about; it's about a goofy girl who moves into an apartment with three other crazy guys and their many adventures of awesomeness. Just watch it.

5. Life

I remember watching this show years ago when it was on TV. Always wondered what happened to it. Then I discovered it on Netflix and I'm in the middle of watching it. Another great show cut show from television. This one is interesting. A LAPD cop who was in prison for 12 years became exonerated and get his life and job back. There is only 2 seasons but it's a good one!

6. Bates Motel

I'm sure everyone has heard of this series by now. It's a spin off of the 1960's classic movie "Psycho". It tells about the life of young Normal Bates before he meets Marion Crane. I watched the 1st season on TV and I'm starting to watch the 2nd one online. This show is right up my alley; Creepy, suspenseful, and drama filled.

Now these next few series are one's I've heard about and really want to watch soon. These are only a few of the many I want to watch.

1. Parenthood

When I still lived with my parent's they were obsessed with this show. I watched an episode with them from time to time but I had no full knowledge of what the show was about. I just knew it was really good. One big crazy family and all the ups and downs life has to offer. What more can you want in a good show? Plus I heard the ending was a real tear jerker. Can't wait to watch it!

2. Dexter

I've heard numerous good things about this one. Blood spill analyst who also just so happened to be a serial killer who only goes after other murderers. Pretty interesting if you ask me. Just another show right up my alley. I promise I'm not that creepy.

3. The Blacklist

I've wanted to watch this since day one on television. I believe I watched the second episode and was thinking this show is going to be great; except I'm the type of person I can't miss an episode and still watch a series. I told myself once it goes on Netflix I'm going to watch it. Now it's here. After turning himself in, a brilliant fugitive offers to help the FBI bag other baddies, but only if rookie profiler  Elizabeth Keen is his partner. That is the Netflix description. Just by that episode I didn't have enough information to know what the show was about; just that I wanted to watch it.

4. Breaking Bad

I feel like I am the last person on earth to watch this show! I watched one episode already and apparently have been told I still have no clue about it; that I will get hooked pretty soon. I just haven't had time to watch it. Oh, but I will watch it! It's about a high school chemistry teacher who is dying with cancer who joins up with a former student of his to make and sell meth to secure his family's future. Which pretty much means.. you have to watch this series.

Let me know what you guys think of these lists! Tell me if I introduced you to a great new show! What shows do you like? I would love to know about new shows to watch!!
